Kurta
Classy, elegant, and maneuverable, the kurta is right at the root of wedding fashion choices for men. This popular outfit was introduced to Northern India during the 18th century, and can be seen everywhere weddings are happing across the globe. It is a perfect example of when form meets function. In its traditional form, the kurta is a long shirt handspun in either in cotton, silk or wool, and is identifiable by its sleeves which falls over the wrists without narrowing. The modern adaptation of this garment includes a range of fitting options and a short rounded off propped collar. It is paired with either a lose-fit pajama or slim-fit churidar, and often a stole on formal occasions. A flexibile article of clothing that can be further simplified and fashioned with jean or a nice pair of slacks.
